Typing Test
Thirty seconds to type as much of the text as you can. Only what you get right counts, and your score is words per minute.
How to play
- Click the text and start typing. The clock starts on your first key.
- Mistakes show in red. Fix them or keep going: only correct characters count.
- After 30 seconds you get your words per minute (five correct characters make a word).
Tips
- Keep your eyes a word or two ahead of where you're typing.
- Steady beats fast: going back to fix mistakes costs more than slowing down.
- Keep your fingers on the home row (ASDF and JKL;).
- Paste is turned off, so the score is your typing.
